Construction is underway on 26 new social homes in Kwinana.
The development will deliver six townhouses and 20 apartments, accommodating a diverse range of households, including families with children and older women.
Located in the Kwinana Town Centre, the homes are close to shops, schools, medical and health services, parks, recreation facilities, the library, and public transport.
The social homes will be operated by St Patrick's Community Support Centre (St Pat's), a not-for-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness.
St Pat's has received $6.72 million in State Government funding and a commitment of $3.79 million of Federal Government funding to deliver the two-stage development.
"My government's priority is ensuring every Western Australian has a home and this new development is another example of that," Premier Roger Cook said.
"We are working with the Albanese Labor Government to bring more affordable and social homes to market and provide assistance to those who need it most."
Construction of Stage 1 is underway and is expected to be completed in early 2027, with Stage 2 expected to commence in mid-2026.
