At a Special Council Meeting held on Tuesday 26 October 2021, the City of Rockingham Council elected a new Deputy Mayor, Baldivis Ward Councillor Hayley Edwards.
Cr Edwards, who was first elected to Council at the 2019 Local Government Elections, will serve as Deputy Mayor to Mayor Deb Hamblin for the next two years.

Cr Edwards’ election to the role completes the make-up of the City’s Council until the next local government elections in 2023.
During the Special Council Meeting held on 26 October representatives for the City’s Council Committees, Occasional Committees, Advisory Committees and Non-Council Committees were also chosen.
