A 30-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly stealing from multiple bottle shops from Perth to Secret Harbour.
"It will be alleged the man committed numerous stealing offences between February and March 2024 and was actively avoiding police," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"The offences occurred across policing districts in the suburbs of Baldivis, Byford, Kwinana, Mandurah, Perth, Rockingham, Secret Harbour and Warnbro."
The Calista man was arrested in Armadale on Friday, March 15 and charged with 20 offences including 18 counts of stealing, one count of burglary and commit and one count of failing to leave a licensed premises when required to do so.
He is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on March 22.
“If you're engaging in criminal behaviour in our area, we will find and arrest you," Detective Sergeant Per Bentsen from Rockingham Police said.
"We are working around the clock to ensure the safety of the community and to make sure people who jeopardise that safety face the consequences of their actions.”
