James "Choombies" Keating has copped a three year ban after he was escorted from the Big Bash semi-final at Optus Stadium on Thursday.
The Scorchers falling down in last night's match wasn't the only thing for fans to be upset over.
Somewhat of an icon, James Keating, affectionately known as "Choombies", was ejected from the game by security and later arrested by Police.
The 34-year-old was spoken to by Optus Stadium security officers about his recent bad behaviour at the stadium.
Seven-West reports Choombies was threatened with a three year ban at a recent game when he allegedly verbally abused a Melbourne Renegades player.
It's now been confirmed Cricket Australia has enforced the three year ban on Choombies.
Around an hour into play Choombies was escorted by Police out of his seat and charged with behaving in a disorderly manner and fail to comply with request to give personal details.
Choombies was bailed out and is due to appear before Perth Magistrates Court later this month.
Fellow Scorchers fans have taken to social media to share their outrage and sympathy following the superfan's three year ban.
