Nineteen year old Joel Payne fronted court this morning and pleaded guilty after two of his friends were killed in a car crash last year.
Joel Payne has pleaded guilty to two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death and one count of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
The teenager was charged when he was caught was behind the wheel of a Toyota Supra that slammed into a tree on Secret Harbour Boulevard in October last year.
17-year-old Mason Hooton and 16-year-old Callum Mummery died after the car crashed on October 5, a third passenger was taken to hospital after being seriously injured in the same crash.
