The Member for Mandurah promised funding for a beach viewing platform during last year's state election.
Madora Bay residents now have access to a prime beach viewing in comfort following the completion of the beach viewing platform at Madora Bay Beach.
Member for Mandurah David Templeman congratulated the Madora Bay Community Association and City of Mandurah for constructing the deck and seating.
Mr Templeman promised $50,000 to the Madora Bay Community Association during last year's state election under the McGowan Government's Local Jobs, Local Projects” initiative, and said he was proud this project had been delivered.
“The Madora Bay Community Association conceived the Beach Viewing Platform and worked with the City of Mandurah to ensure the project came to fruition," he said.
The Boardwalk and Viewing Platform has now been completed with the final installation of two sets of seating on the beach viewing section.
“This is a stunning platform and I know a lot of Madora Bay residents and beach users are impressed by the fantastic addition it makes to the beachside facilities.” Mr Templeman said.
Mr Templeman praised the efforts of the Madora Bay Community Association, which works throughout the year to encourage a strong sense of community in the north Mandurah suburb.
