Two men have been charged over a violent home invasion in Barragup.
Police say the accused, along with several other unknown people, allegedly forced their way into a home on Mears Road armed with a machete and firearms around 5.50am on Monday, December 9.
The group allegedly threatened a female resident before physically assaulting her.
They then fled the home with a small amount of cash.
The victim suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
A short time later police arrested a 32-year-old man on Mears Road.
On December 11, police arrested a 30-year-old man at a home in Dawesville where they located a BB gun and a handgun.
Both have been charged with aggravated armed robbery, aggravated home burglary and stealing.
They are next due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on December 13 and December 17, respectively.
Inquiries remain ongoing with Mandurah Detectives.
"At this time, investigators believe this was a targeted incident and the parties may be known to one another," a WA Police spokesperson said.
