A man who allegedly stole a Porsche and led police on a pursuit through Kwinana has been arrested.
The 26-year-old allegedly stole the Porsche Cayenne from a Mosman Park home on Monday, before the vehicle was spotted by police in Leda around 12.15am on Thursday.
The man allegedly failed to stop for officers and fled the area.
Police followed the vehicle for a short time but decided to abort the chase.
Around 12.40am the Porsche was sighted on Gilmore Avenue in Kwinana, but the driver allegedly failed to stop for officers again.
The police helicopter followed the car through the suburbs of Kwinana, Medina, Orelia and Hope Valley before it was successfully stopped by officers on Rockingham Road.
The 26-year-old driver from Leda has been charged with failing to stop, reckless driving, stealing a motor vehicle and no authority to drive.
He is due to appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
