Bunbury detectives are investigating an assault at a tavern in Kirup that has left a man in a critical condition.
Police said an altercation occurred between two men at a tavern on the Western Highway last Friday, resulting in a 56 year old male receiving serious head injuries.
He is currently at RPH in a critical condition.
Detectives would like to speak to a man in his 20s who they believe may be able to assist them with their inquiries.
The man is described as fair skinned with a muscular build.
The July 14 altercation happened between 8:30 and 9:30pm.
