Ernest Fisher has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his son Matthew Fisher-Turner.
The Supreme Court of Western Australia has sentenced Ernest Fisher to life behind bars for murdering his 23-year-old son on AFL Grand Final day in 2016.
The 67-year-old will be eligible for parole in 18 years.
Fisher's two other children, Joshua and Hannah, were both sentenced to jail time for being accessories to the murder, burying their brother's body in the backyard of their Parmelia home.
Hannah will be eligible for parole immediately.
