Four people have been charged, including a Halls Head woman, after police allegedly seized guns, ammunition and drugs during two raids in Parmelia and Casuarina.
Police searched a home in Casuarina on Monday as a result of inquiries into the alleged deprivation of liberty and assault of a 21-year-old woman.
The Tactical Response Group and Bomb Squad were also called in after an improvised explosive device was allegedly found next to the front door of the property.
It was rendered safe before officers entered the house.
During the search, police allegedly seized a number of firearms, ammunition, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Three people were arrested at the address and two of them have since been charged.
On Wednesday, police also raided a home in Parmelia and allegedly seized a further amount of drugs, cash, knuckle dusters and drug paraphernalia.
Two people were arrested at the house.
A 36-year-old man from Casuarina has been charged with deprivation of liberty and assault occasioning bodily harm and will appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
A 27-year-old Parmelia man has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply (methylamphetamine) and possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply (cannabis) and will appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
A 28-year-old man from Casuarina has been charged with aggravated possession of an unlicensed firearm and will appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court on May 8.
A 37-year-old Halls Head woman has been charged with breach of bail, and possession of a prohibited drug.
She will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on May 8.
