A 17-year-old girl has died after she was attacked by a shark off Esperance.
The girl was surfing with her father at Kelp Beds about three kilometres east of Wylie Bay when she was attacked about 4pm on Monday.
She was dragged from the water and treated on the beach by paramedics before being rushed to Esperance Hospital.
Police later confirmed the girl died from her injuries.
