Actor Craig McLachlan has come under fire with assault claims dating back to 2014.
A joint ABC/Fairfax investigation has revealed three women, who acted alongside McLachlan during the 2014 run of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, all claim he sexual assaulted, indecently assaulted and bullied and intimidated them.
The 52 year old starred in the production as Dr Frank-N-Furter when claims he took advantage of several female co-stars.
The investigation said two of the women involved complained to senior production staff at the time but said nothing was done.
Several reports say McLachlan attempted to put his hands up women's costumes both on and off stage, there are also reports from one actress he tried to kiss her without her permission.
The women allege he also bullied and intimidated some cast members.
Christie Whelan Browne, Angela Scundi and Erika Heynatz, who all starred alongside McLachlan during the 2014 season, have all spoken out with claims against the former Home and Away Star, one said this could affect the future of her career.
Two of the women have hired lawyers to pursue legal action against McLachlan.
A statement from Victoria Police in relation to the investigation said:
“Detectives from Melbourne’s Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team are investigating allegations of sexual offences dating back to 2014.”
“As the investigation is ongoing it would be inappropriate to make any further comments.”
Rocky Horror Picture Show is currently on tour in Adelaide with shows in Perth to start next month, Craig McLachlan is still currently in position as Dr Frank-N-Furter.
