The City of Kwinana's annual Christmas Lolly Run returns this month.

More than 35,000 pre-packed lolly bags will be handed out to local children over seven evenings from December 17 to 23.

Residents are urged to listen out for the beeps and music trucks between 4.30pm and 8.30pm on the night when the Lolly Run is in the individual suburb, or live track from the City of Kwinana website’s Lolly Run page to see where it is located.

Mayor Peter Feasey said the Lolly Run was a unique event, exclusive to the City of Kwinana, that had been about community spirit and building connections for over 65-years.

“This annual tradition isn't just about sharing lollies; it's about spreading joy and building connections within our tight-knit community. Volunteers generously give their time to make this event a success, by creating magical moments that are treasured by young and old," he said.

“In the lead up to the Lolly Run the Kwinana community can further get into the festive spirit by visiting Chisham Square to take a captivating photo with one of the four dazzling light installations including a Santa Bear, a giant Kangaroo, the sparkling archway and of course a Christmas tree."
