Emergency services were called to the property on Roy Street about 8.40pm on Sunday, June 29.
Firefighters extinguished the fire but could not save the unit which had suffered extensive damage including a partially collapsed roof.
Luckily, no one was inside at the time and crews managed to stop the blaze from spreading to a nearby unit.
