Malcolm Turnbull has won the leadership spill and will remain Prime Minister of Australia.
Earlier this morning Mr Turnbull used a meeting of Liberal Party MPs and Senators to declare the leadership of the Liberal Party open.
Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton put his hand up for the top job but Mr Turnbull prevailed with 48 votes to 35.
Julie Bishop was re-elected unopposed as deputy.
