Police have charged a man after an incident in Warnbro on Thursday.
It will be alleged a 55-year-old man was behaving erratically and barricaded himself in a house on Monterey Crescent as police were called to the property.
The man also made threats he was in possession of explosives, as additional police resources were deployed including Tactical Response Group officers.
A police negotiator spoke to the man, and it is understood after five hours, the man surrendered.
He was taken to hospital for medical assessment.
The man from Warnbro has been charged with creating false apprehension to the existence of threats or danger and is due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
