Detectives have charged a 22-year-old man after allegedly waving a gun at other motorists while driving around Hamilton Hill last week.
It's alleged the man was driving a white Ford Falcon sedan during the afternoon of July 26 when he waved an item, which appeared to be a firearm, as he passed a motorcyclist on Winterfold Road in Hamilton Hill.
Police said on Tuesday the man handed himself into the Fremantle Police Station where he was charged with being armed or pretending to be armed in a way that may cause fear.
The Coolbellup man is due to appear at Fremantle Magistrates Court in August.
