A 79-year-old man has been charged after shining a light into a police aeroplane to distract the pilot in Mandurah.
Police have charged a man after he allegedly shone a light into the police plane yesterday afternoon.
It'll be alleged just before 1.30pm officers in the plane reported the man was using a mirror to reflect the sun at the aircraft in an attempt to hinder the pilot.
Officers on the ground attended a house in Mandurah where the mirror was found.
The only man inside the property has been charged with Causing Fear or Alarm to the Driver of Conveyance or Other and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
