More retailers have been announced and will be seeking out possible employees at the January 30 job fair.
With the success of the first two job fairs connecting employers with prospecting employees the Mandurah Forum has announced a third and final career fair for Tuesday January 30.
This will be an opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers face-to-face and apply for available jobs on a full-time, part-time and causal basis in a range of roles.
The newly announced global fashion giant H&M will be one of the retailers recruiting at the job fair with some vacancies to be filled.
Other confirmed retailers attending the jobs fair include food outlet Ribs & Burgers and men's clothing retailer Gazman.
There will be a number of job opportunities up for grabs including leadership roles, and people with prior experience or qualifications in a range of areas including customer service experience in fashion, general merchandise and services, and food and beverage will be sought out during the final jobs fair.
After a successful job fair in June 2017 and the recent David Jones careers fair in November last year Centre Manager Jacqueline McKenzie said Mandurah Forum was again thrilled to offer local community members the chance to find current and upcoming roles.
"As a growing centre in the heart of the Peel region, we’re proud to be hosting this upcoming jobs fair which will give our local community the unique chance to apply for new jobs and learn firsthand about career options that will soon be available at Mandurah Forum,” she said.
“Once Mandurah Forum’s $350 million transformation is complete, we estimate we will have created more than 700 ongoing retail, hospitality and service jobs.”
New retailers and hospitality operators will open their doors in the final stage of Mandurah Forum's $350 million redevelopment which will be unveiled in the coming months.
Locals will be able to register their interest with new retailers at a 'Meet & Greet' style job fair on Tuesday January 30.
H&M will be situated at the event space opposite Dotti, food & beverage opportunities will be found opposite The Coffee Club and fashion, speciality & general retailers will set up booths at the event space opposite Smiggle.
Job seekers are encouraged to dress to impress and come equipped with copies of their resume.
Around 3,000 people were in attendance at the first Job Fair.
