Festive cheer and celebrations will fill Mandurah this Christmas, with a huge line-up of family-friendly events, activities and joyful sights to see over the coming months.
The hugely popular Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail, presented by Satterley’s Seaside Estate, will be back better and bigger than ever before, lighting up the night from Wednesday, December 1.
As well as giant light-up Santas, trains, reindeer and sparkling Christmas trees floating in the Mandurah estuary, even more lights and installations have been added this year including a Christmas boot, a countdown clock, 50 interactive coloured stepping stones, a Chopper motorcycle, reindeer to sit on and a Colours of Mandurah light-up archway.

People can follow the Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail along the Eastern Foreshore, over the boardwalk to Mandjar Square and into the Mandurah Ocean Marina.
The lights will be switched on every night until Sunday, January 9.
While the Christmas lights are on display, there will be a number of attractions the community can enjoy while out and about with family and friends.
The ‘community nights’ are being sponsored by Community Bank Halls Head.
The line-up of activities and things to see and do will include buskers, carolling and roving performers.
On Friday, December 3 Mandurah’s main streets will come to life with celebrations for the Christmas Pageant.
The Pageant will start at 6pm, with more than 30 decorated floats weaving their way along Mandurah Terrace, starting and finishing at the Cooper Street/Mandurah Terrace intersection.
Following the Pageant, a special Christmas event will be held on the Eastern Foreshore from 7pm - 8.30pm including live Christmas carols by the Mandurah Concert Band, a magical Santa’s Grotto featuring Santa himself, a Letter to Santa workshop, cooking with Mrs Claus, and a wooden toy
giveaway and toy raffle with Mandurah Men’s Shed.

Other activities include a petting zoo, Reindeer Rocks workshop, Elf on the Shelf workshop, face painting and festive stalls.
There will be plenty more events and activities to enjoy in Mandurah over the festive period including New Year’s Eve fireworks (Dec 31), the Séance Immersive Experience (Dec 3-Jan 9), a Chrissy Cruise and Crawl (Dec 10), the Beatbox music stage (Dec 10-12) and the weekly Mandjar Markets.
