Police are searching for Malcolm Stirling Blurton who they believe could be in possession of a gun and other weapons.
Police are urgently appealing for public assistance to locate 30-year-old Malcolm Stirling Blurton who is considered very dangerous and may behave in an unpredictable manner.
Mr Blurton is believed to be around the Armadale and Gosnells area and was last seen in a silver vehicle, possibly a hatchback or SUV.
Acting commissioner Paul Steel said police wanted to speak with Mr Blurton about a number of crimes in the Armadale area.
"Police have been conducting inquiries in relation to illicit drug use and other crimes, including several recent incidents where people were sighted with weapons," he said.
Mr Blurton is believed to be in possession of a firearm and other weapons.
Police said if the public see the 30-year-old not to approach him but contact Police immediately on 131 444.
He said a number of other people had been assisting police with their inquiries.
"It's important to note that we believe those incidents are restricted to a small group of people, rather than being a risk to members of the public, however, Mr Blurton is considered dangerous, " Commissioner Steel said.
Malcolm Blurton is described as dark skinned, approximately 175cms tall, with a medium build, short brown hair possibly with a rats tail.
