Community members are invited to the City of Rockingham’s Multicultural Festival, which will be held on Friday March 17 from 5.30pm – 9pm at the Village Green in Rockingham.
The event is being held as part of the City’s Summer Series, and will feature stage performances, more than 30 food vendors, market stalls, roving entertainment and activities for youth and children.
Attendees will be able to enjoy cuisine from countries including Japan, the Netherlands, France, Morocco, the Philippines and Tibet.
The stage performances will highlight Aboriginal Nyoongar culture, Latin music, Irish and Indian dancing, German brass band, Chinese calligraphy, and drumming from Perth’s largest community drumming group WASAMBA.

“The Multicultural Festival is one of the City’s major annual events, and it represents a fabulous opportunity to celebrate all of the different cultures that contribute to our community," Mayor Deb Hamblin said.
“Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of flavours from around the world at the Multicultural Festival, so there’s sure to be something to suit everyone’s tastebuds.”
Tickets are not required for this event.
