Almost three months on from the draw, a Rockingham woman has finally come forward to claim a $1.3 million Division 1 Lotto prize.
The woman, aged in her 40s, said the winning ticket had been sitting on her breakfast bar nearly forgotten.
“I just hadn’t got around to checking it,” the woman said.
“I’d heard on the radio a few times there was a missing Rockingham millionaire but there’s no way I thought it could be me.
“It really hasn’t sunk in yet but I’m sure it will when there are a few more zeroes looking back at me in my bank account."
The winning ticket was purchased from Rockingham Central Lottery Centre for a Saturday Lotto draw held on February 18.
