A truck has downed power lines after collided with a power pole this morning.
Around 6.30 this morning a truck collided with a power pole at the Day and Mandurah Road intersection in East Rockingham.
As result several power lines have been downed which has caused a number of power outages in the area.
Western Power has been advised and estimate power will be restored to the 107 customers around 9.30 this morning.
A Western Power spokesperson said crews were at the scene and working to repair damages.
"Our emergency crews on the ground have identified damage to surrounding pole top equipment and, as a safety action, have de energised the feeder line which is now affecting just over 1,000 customers," he said.
Customers who remain without power will need to wait for the repair crew to fix the problem in the area to have their power restored.
The spokesperson also said crews will be working roadside and traffic should slow down in the area and observe traffic management signs.
