An unmarked police car has crashed into a traffic light pole while pursuing a motorcycle in Subiaco.
Perth Detectives started chasing the blue Suzuki motorbike, which was being ridden dangerously, after it went through two stop signs in the back streets of Subiaco around 8.20pm on Tuesday.
The motorcycle did not stop for police and sped along Hay Street before taking a sharp right turn at the intersection of Rokeby Road.
The police car followed but could not make the turn and collided with the traffic light.
The crash caused extensive damage to the front of the vehicle but the two officers were not injured.
Anyone who saw the motorcycle prior or after the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
