Police are investigating a firearm incident in Falcon.
Officers were called to a home on Merrin Court around 7.30pm on Monday over concerns for the wellbeing of a man.
Police say a firearm was discharged inside the home, but no one was injured.
Nearby roads were cordoned off by officers and the man, aged in his 70s, was taken into custody.
He has since been taken to Peel Health Campus for a health assessment.
No charges have been laid.
