An investigation by internal affairs has charged the WA Police Force Officer and he's been stood down from duty.
The senior constable was charged with one count of possessing indecent or obscene articles under the Classification Enforcement Act 1996.
The act includes possessing indecent or obscene publications, films or computer games.
The officer was stood down from duty on earlier this month after being charged by the internal affairs unit, with other matters that are currently before the Perth Magistrates Court.
He will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on the possession indecent or obscene articles charge today.
