Police have been pelted with bottles, bricks and wooden stakes at an out-of-control party in Waikiki overnight.
Officers were called to a home on Murchison Road just before 11.30pm after reports of men fighting.
They arrived to find 50 to 60 people on the street, some fighting within the group.
Police will allege while they went to help one group of people, they had bottles, bricks and wooden stakes thrown at them.
Several police cars were also damaged in the incident.
Riot Police were called in to help disperse the crowd.
They were also hit with bricks, which struck their shields and not the officers.
A 22-year-old Baldivis man has been charged with criminal damage and a 16-year-old boy from Caversham will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date on the offence of trespass.
