Detectives have charged a Rockingham man following an armed robbery at a store in Port Kennedy yesterday.
Police allege at 10.40am a white Ford Falcon sedan reversed into a collection bay at a store on Saltaire Way.
Two people remained in the vehicle while a man exited and began loading electrical items into the boot.
It is further alleged the 26-year-old pulled a knife and threatened staff before he continued to load items into the car.
He then left the scene in the car.
The vehicle was later sighted driving in Rockingham and was stopped by officers and Rockingham Detectives.
A man was taken into custody and the stolen property later located at a unit in Rockingham.
The Rockingham man was charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery and will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
Inquiries are continuing to identify the other occupants of the vehicle at the time of the offence.
