More than a hundred thousand people visiting Optus Stadium next weekend for it's open day will be able to witness the state of the art security measures in place at the venue.
Hundreds of next generation CCTV cameras and swarms of police will keep fans safe.
But according to The West Australian stadium operator VenuesLive have not confirmed if facial recognition technology would be used at the stadium, following its usage at last weeks SCG Ashes test.
WA Police Superintendent Dario Bolzonella told The West while they aren't aware of operational plans, they won't be taking any risks with fan safety.
Those attending the Optus Stadium open day will have the opportunity to walk through the facility and enjoy 360-degree access across two levels.
But if haven't got tickets yet you'll have to wait until your first sporting event or concert at the venue as tickets are now fully sold out.
