Residents have been advised not to be alarmed when a Singapore Airlines Airbus makes a low fly-by over Perth.
The new A350 will pass over the Swan River from the Causeway, past Langley Park, Elizabeth Quay and out over Kings Park about 2pm on Wednesday.
The flight, SQ226, is being rerouted to mark the airline’s 50th anniversary of flying over Perth.
People are encouraged to take a photo of the plane as it flies over and share it on the Singapore Airlines Facebook page with the hashtag #SQPerth50.
The best photo will earn the photographer two return economy-class tickets to Singapore.
The best vantage points to capture the A350 aircraft are from Kings Park, Elizabeth Quay, Langley Park and South Perth Foreshore.
