A 16-year-old boy who was killed after the stolen car he was in allegedly slammed into a bus in Kewdale had only just been released from prison after another crash involving a stolen car.
Jack Raymond Meier died after the Holden Commodore he was a passenger in allegedly collided with an empty charter bus during a police pursuit at the intersection of Abernethy and Kewdale roads on Saturday night.
The bus flipped onto its side, trapping the 46-year-old driver.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, as well as the 19-year-old driver of the alleged stolen Commodore.
Jack is believed to have died at the scene.
According to Seven News, Jack was also in a stolen Commodore that crashed into a wall outside a home in Carlisle in December.
He had only just been released from juvenile detention.
The 19-year-old driver has been charged with manslaughter, reckless driving, stealing a motor vehicle and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
The Holden was allegedly stolen from Oldbury on March 31.
