Mandurah Detectives have charged two 16-year-old boys over an incident in which a 20-year-old woman was injured when she was carjacked.
It's alleged the pair stole Tamryn Parkes Mazda 3 around 1:30am on Sunday August 19, at the intersection of Kerikeri Heights and Winslow Crescent Lakelands.
Ms Parkes said she offered to give the two boys a lift home from a Golden Bay house party they had all attended.
She said the boys then assaulted her, punching her in the throat and choking her before fleeing the car with her keys.
"I chased after him saying 'give me my keys back', and then they came back and the assault continued," she told Nine News.
