Residents say they heard "hooning" moments before a car crashed into a power pole in Calista.
The crash happened on Chilcott Street near Calista Primary School around 4.30am on Tuesday.
Western Power crews are now working to remove power lines which fell on top of the vehicle.
No one was inside the car when emergency crews arrived.
