Police are investigating an incident where a female was stabbed in her own backyard last month.
Fremantle Detectives are seeking information regarding an assault on Saturday, December 30 2017.
Around 7.00am a 31-year-old woman was in the backyard of her South Lake home when two men entered the side of her property and approached her from behind.
Police say the victim was punched several times to the face and head which caused swelling to her forehead and bruising to both eyes.
The female fell to the ground and one of the males used an unknown object to stab her in the leg before fleeing the scene.
The first male is described as 14 – 15 years old, approximately 155 centimetres tall, slight build, tanned skin and brown eyes.
The second male is described as 14 years old, approximately 153 centimetres tall, slight build, tanned skin and brown eyes.
Detectives have released an image of a male that may be able to assist with inquiries.
