From November 5th until May 2021, Anglicare WA in partnership with Alcoa Foundation are providing free support services in parts of the Peel and South-West regions to support local residents and families struggling due to COVID-19.

Through Alcoa’s partnership with Anglicare WA, specific coronavirus support services tailored to meet the needs of each local community have commenced with the assistance of local partners GP down south and FinUCAre.

The free programs range from mental health support and assistance with financial instability, as well as parenting support services in some locations.

There are various locations providing various services:

Kwinana’s Frank Konecny Community Centre:
- Mental health counseling delivered by Anglicare WA on Wednesdays
- Financial support services will be provided by FinUCAre on Thursdays.

Pinjarra’s Murray House Resource Centre:
- Mental health counseling delivered by Anglicare WA on Mondays
- Financial support services provided by FinUCAre on Tuesdays

Harvey and Yarloop Community Resource Centres:
- Mental health counseling provided fortnightly on Tuesdays by GP down south
- Financial support services will also be available in the coming months

Waroona Community Resource Centre:
- Mental health counseling delivered by GP down south every Friday
- Financial support services provided by FinUCAre
- Parenting support services will also be available in coming months
