Elton John and Brandi Carlile released their new song, "Never Too Late" inspired by the upcoming documentary Elton John: Never Too Late and ultimately played a key role in the production.
"When Brandi told me she was so inspired by the early cut of the documentary that she wanted us to co-write a new song for it, I was thrilled," Elton John wrote in a social media post. "We loved the collaboration so much that it became the title for the film."
The documentary follows Elton as he looks back on his life and the astonishing early days of his career.
Elton John: Never Look Back premieres on Disney+ on December 13.
