A Baldivis couple say they are going to pay off their mortgage and help extended family after winning $1 million in Wednesday's Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was purchased from The Lucky Charm in Rockingham.
The couple, in their 30s, realised they had the right numbers after checking their ticket numerous times.
“I looked up the numbers online, when I got to the third line I thought ‘what the?’” the winner said.
“This win is going to help a lot of families and Christmas is going to be different now, but in a good way.”
Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said Wednesday’s win now meant WA had produced 64 Division One winners in 2020
“We’re hoping to see another millionaire following tonight’s $20 million Powerball draw,” Ms Coleman said.
