Banned West Coast star Willie Rioli has been charged with drug possession in the Northern Territory.
It is alleged a drug detection dog found 25 grams of cannabis in Rioli's pants at Darwin Airport on April 23.
He has been charged with possessing a schedule 2 dangerous drug in a quantity less than traffickable - less than 50 grams - in a public place.
Rioli will face court in Darwin on Wednesday.
The 2018 premiership star was due to start training with the Eagles on June 20 and play AFL from August 20 after a two-year ban for tampering with a urine sample in 2019.
