A 15-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly lighting a man on fire in Dudley Park.
Police were called to a home on Durras Place around 6.40pm on Saturday with reports a man was on fire.
A 34-year-old man was located nearby suffering from burns and other injuries.
He was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital by ambulance where he remains.
Officers arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 37-year-old man from a nearby residence.
The boy allegedly caused the burn injuries, while the man deleted vision of the incident which had been recorded on CCTV.
The 15-year-old Dudley Park boy has been charged with grievous bodily harm and will appear in the Perth Children’s Court today.
The 37-year-old man from Dudley Park has been charged with wilfully destroying evidence and is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on August 21.
