Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident near a bus stop in Port Kennedy where an 8-year-old boy was hit in the face.
Mandurah detectives are currently investigating an assault on an 8 year old boy that occurred in Port Kennedy on Tuesday, July 4.
It happened between 12pm and 1pm when the boy was near the bus stop on Warnbro Sound Avenue, near Stockton Road.
The boy was approached by an older woman who was screaming at him before hitting the boy to the face.
The boy and woman got on a bus together a short time later.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
