An 83-year-old Port Kennedy man has died in a crash in Bedfordale.
The man was driving a gold Ford Fairlane sedan on the Albany Highway near Canning Dam Road around 3.14pm on Saturday when he collided head-on with a white Holden Commodore travelling in the opposite direction.
St John Ambulance paramedics, under police escort, rushed the 83-year-old driver to Royal Perth Hospital, but he later died of his injuries.
The 52-year-old driver of the Holden was also taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Major Crash Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have information about the two vehicles involved to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to make a report online at crimestopperswa.com.au.
