Police have confirmed a man has died following a horror crash in Jarrahdale.
It's understood a truck and a car collided along the South Western Highway near Jarrahdale Road around 9am on Friday.
The driver of the car, believed to be a man in his 20s, became trapped in his vehicle.
He suffered critical injuries.
The South Western Highway remains closed in both directions between Karnup Road and Watkins Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
