The iconic Fairbridge Festival will finally return in 2024 after securing the Edenvale Heritage Precinct as its new home.

The three day event has been held at Fairbridge Village since it began in 1993, but following multiple cancellations it was revealed in November 2022 that the event would need to find a new venue.

Event organisers, FolkWorld, have since announced Pinjarra's Edenvale Heritage Precinct will host the festival from April 5th - 7th in 2024.

FolkWorld General Manager Lloyd Sabin said the Edenvale Heritage Precinct captures the essence of the festival.

“We are so excited to be holding our much-loved music festival at a fresh new location on the fringe of the Pinjarra township,” Mr Sabin Said.

“While the site will look a little different next year, we are bringing back the best of the past with an eye clearly on the future.”

Shire of Murray President Councillor David Bolt said the shire is delighted to be hosting the festival in 2024.

“We are very pleased that FolkWorld has the confidence in us as a community to deliver such an iconic event on the Western Australian cultural calendar,” Mr Bolt said.

“The festival will provide our residents and visitors an exciting experience that showcases Pinjarra’s creative culture and wild at heart spirit.”

More details for the 2024 festival and ticket sales will be available in late 2023.
