The motorcyclist killed in a crash in Naval Base has been identified as a 21 year old man from Golden Bay.
Major Crash Investigations Section is investigating Saturday morning's crash on Rockingham Road.
Around 8am, the man was riding north on his Yamaha motorcycle when it is believed he struck the side of a truck/trailer at the traffic control lights at the intersection of Rockingham Road and Link Road.
The truck/trailer was turning right at the intersection at the time.
The rider of the motorcycle died at the scene of the crash.
