Halls Head bikie caught on drugs, theft charges

Gang Crime Squad officers raided the 36-year-old's Halls head home earlier this week.

The senior Mongrel Mob member faces a string of drug and theft charges following a raid on his Halls Head home on Wednesday.

It'll be alleged that around 380 grams of methylamphetamine was located, along with amount nearly $70,000 in cash.

Proceeds of Crime Squad have issued a freezing notice for cash and other assets. Several motorcycles and a vintage car have also been seized as part of further inquiries.

The 36-year-old has been charged with Posses Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply and Possess Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property.

He fronted the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Thursday, and will next appear in late September.  

Serious and Organised Crime Squad Detective Superintendent Kim Massam said that Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs remain a focus for the WA Police Force as they are frequently linked to criminal acts committed in our community.

“This work is ongoing and gang members should be on notice that the Gang Crime Squad will not rest in its efforts to target criminal activity,” Detective Superintendent Massam said.
