Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man in Kwinana Beach.
Police and St John paramedics were called to Beach Street around 6.10pm on Thursday where they found the unresponsive and injured 56-year-old man in a carpark area.
He could not be revived and died at the scene.
Police believe he may have been involved in an altercation just before his death.
A man aged in his 50s, who is believed to be known to the victim, is assisting with the investigation.
