Hundreds of people have been forced to evacuate their homes as a bushfire continues to threaten lives and properties south of Dwellingup.
About 250 firefighters remain on the scene as they battle the massive blaze which started in bushland west of the Nanga townsite just after 12pm on Saturday.
It has now burnt through over 1800 hectares.
A bushfire emergency warning remains for people east of South Western Highway, between Greenlands Road roundabout and Peel Road, bounded by Pinjarra Williams Road, Farley Road, Lane Poole Reserve, Murray River, Nanga Road, Nanga Brook Road and Peel Road, excluding the townsite of Waroona.
The warning also includes the Meelon townsite and properties in the vicinity of Ridgeview Drive, and Nanga townsite.

"Although fire behaviour has decreased from extreme unseasonal conditions experienced on Saturday, the fire is still spreading with strong winds in difficult to access steep and hilly terrain," a Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said.
"The fire ground is experiencing fresh and gusty winds this morning, decreasing into the evening.
"People in the area should remain vigilant in case the fire behaviour escalates again."
A bushfire watch and act is also in place for parts of Waroona, Nanga Brook, Oakley, Blythwood and Coolup as there is a possible threat to lives and homes.
An evacuation centre has been set up at the Murray Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Pinjarra.
All campgrounds within Lane Poole Reserve are closed.
The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious.
The Arson Squad is asking anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
