A 25-year-old man has been charged after he carjacked the vehicle earlier this week.
Armadale Detectives have charged a man following an investigation into a carjacking in Armadale.
Authorities allege the man approached a taxi rank on Commerce Avenue in Armadale around 12:30am on Wednesday. It's further alleged he threatened the taxi driver with a syringe before driving away in the stolen taxi.
The 25-year-old man, of no fixed address has been charged with one count of armed robbery and two counts of breaching a family violence order or violence restraining order.
He'll appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court today.
